Paul Shanahan, a vegan entrepreneur who lives in Lancashire, UK.jpg

Paul Shanahan

Paul is 40 years old and a Taurus. He’s always been a bit of a black sheep, having always been and done the opposite of what people and society expect, with mental health problems and being gay and vegan. Like a typical Taurus/Ox, when he had mental health problems he was told to take medication, and instead he chose meditation. When he injured his back, he was told to do yoga, and he did Qigong. Now he’s also vegan. Following the crowd has never been his thing, and it's where he believes his strength comes from.

Drew Maxwell

Drew is 27 years old and lives in Massachusetts. She uses she/her pronouns and identifies as pansexual. She started my business in 2016. When she was 17, she was diagnosed with a progressive chronic illness that left her unable to work a regular job. She started cake decorating as a hobby to do while she was doing her home health infusions because she always loved baking. As someone who has suffered with food allergies, she wanted to provide accessible options for people of all kinds!

Her business, For Goodness Cakes Desserts, provides custom and specialty desserts that accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions and lifestyle choices. As a disabled, queer person, inclusivity is something she prides herself on. She believes life is short and should also be sweet! She also donates annually to as many charity events as possible, and she is always looking for ways to give back to the communities she holds close to her heart.
