March for Mercy: Pandemic Prevention Team Edition!

  • Soldiers Memorial History Museum 1315 Chestnut Street St. Louis, MO, 63103 United States (map)

Join us as we #MarchForMercy, demanding that every last animal be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion! This is your opportunity to not only lend your voice to a worthy cause, but also amplify the under-powered voices of literally billions of the most innocent, defenseless, and vulnerable among us.

As part of this march, we also seek to dramatize the connection between animal exploitation and pandemics, from COVID-19 and swine flu to SARS and HIV. If you are interested in becoming an official member of our Pandemic Prevention Team, please complete the following form.

Carry the sword of justice and the torch of reason as we march boldly into a new year of animal rights victory for our nonhuman animal brothers, sisters, and xesters while raising awareness about the diseases that ultimately result from their exploitation!

PLAN OF ACTION:

We will meet promptly at 11 a.m. At 11:15 a.m., we will review our march protocol, assign roles, and begin rehearsing our chants. At 11:30 a.m., our speeches for the day will commence. The march will then officially commence no later than 12 p.m. We will march to the Arch to make a bold statement that we will not be silenced, that our nonhuman animal brothers, sisters, and xesters will not suffer and die in vain! Then we will march to St. Louis City Hall to demand our city government declare animal products a threat to public health, from chronic diseases like high blood pressure, diabetes, and heart disease to pandemics like COVID-19 and swine flu. Once the march concludes around 1 p.m., we will all part our separate ways with those who wish to stay joining us for our first official meeting as the Pandemic Prevention Team.
