March for Reparations: Vegan Solidarity with Black Power

  • St. Louis Public Library - Carpenter Branch 3309 South Grand Boulevard St. Louis, MO, 63118 United States (map)

Join us for a national day of political action coordinated by the Uhuru Solidarity Movement, an exceptional organization we have partnered with for this march. This is a call to the white population to march for reparations as a stance of principled solidarity with the black community and their righteous struggle for black power, political and economic power over their own lives and resources. Not all animals are free until brown and black folks are free as well.

LOCAL DEMANDS:

1) Make Wall Street Pay Reparations. Bank of America and other corporations and banks on Wall Street must pay reparations to the African community through massive return of stolen wealth into the Black Power Blueprint, the anti-colonial economic development program of the African working class.

2) Make St. Louis local government and Mayor Lyda Krewson pay reparations for the ongoing public policy of police containment and economic starvation of the African community.

3) Reparations and justice for Mike Brown, Kiwi Herring, and all victims of police murder.

4) Solidarity with black community control of the police: End colonial police occupation of the black community.

5) Stop ward reduction and genocidal gentrification of North St. Louis: Keep 28 wards for St. Louis City.

6) Shut down the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA).
