The fur industry remains one of the cruelest, most abusive, virtually unregulated industries in the world. Each year, the fur industry abuses one billion rabbits and over 50 million other animals, including foxes, minks, seals, and raccoon dogs.

Animals raised for fur endure extremely cramped, unsanitary conditions, with many suffering from severe, untreated infections and crippling foot conditions. Millions more go insane from the stress, confinement, and abuse, running in circles or engaging in other repetitive, often self-destructive behaviors, craving release from their suffering and escape from their rusty-wire prisons.
