This March 7th, we made history!
Dear friends:
On Sunday, March 7th this month, we made history; after two years and five months of promising we would open our first-ever chapter outside St. Louis by our third year of existence, we have finally succeeded, seven months ahead of schedule.
This major milestone marks the moment at which we transition from being a one-city powerhouse to a regional superpower, the moment at which Project Animal Freedom has finally taken flight; now the sky's the limit!
WHY YOU MATTER
You have made this momentous occasion possible; without your consistent support, we would not have built the momentum we need to inspire people like Larissa, our Chapter Organizer for Springfield, Missouri, to join the team.
Every donation you have made, every ticket you have bought, every event you have attended, every post you have shared, and every person you have told about our organization’s good work has brought us closer to this history-defining moment. You are the lifeblood of Project Animal Freedom. You are the force propelling us forward into an auspicious future so many doubted we would ever realize.
It is remarkably rare that an organization, especially a grassroots animal rights organization, makes the transition from a one-city operation to a chapter-building behemoth. Of course, we have far to go before we become a bona fide behemoth, but the point remains: exceptionally few organizations make the transition. (After all, if becoming a chapter-building organization that is not confined to just one city or state were common, we would likely not have to open any chapters at all.)
Of the 58 metropolitan areas across the Midwest with a population in excess of 100,000 human animals, just 15 feature a local animal rights organization. That’s just 1 in 4! If we graded our Midwestern animal rights movement by this metric, we would receive a mega-“F,” falling 34 points short of even a “D” rating.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
We can do better. We can do far better. But we need you to redouble your investment in our organization. The task before us—building a fully vegan Midwest by 2056—is truly monumental; it will take not just five key team members, but a sustained movement of at least 5,000 individuals—from volunteers, to donors, to event attendees, to ambassadors, to team leaders—fighting relentlessly to carry this mission to victory.
Would you consider joining the leadership team of the fastest-growing animal rights organization in the Midwest? This is your opportunity to unleash your potential, revolutionize the Midwest, and maximize your impact for animals. Seize it today.
Just as importantly, would you consider becoming one of our first Movement Builders to sustain our burgeoning movement? You can learn more about all the perks of becoming an official Project Animal Freedom Movement Builder via the following link.
