On Wednesday, we leafleted at SLU.

We distributed roughly 300 leaflets at SLU’s busiest intersection along Grand. These leaflets discussed the environmental impacts of animal agriculture, from fueling climate change through methane and nitrous oxide emissions to driving Amazon rainforest destruction. Our overall reception was positive, with many students thanking us for the information. For every person who ignored us, at least three or four people accepted our leaflet. Better yet, many students were heading out for lunch; we hope we inspired them to explore a more plant-based diet!
